Collins Gala Fundraiser
One of the missions of the Cosmopolitan Woman's Club is to raise funds in support of trusted organizations that serve children and youth with the primary recipient being Collins Family Ministries. The Club has raised over a million dollars in support of this worthy organization.
Instead of a separate club fundraiser this year we have been invited and are honored to participate in the annual Collins Big Beautiful BBQ on April 10, 2027 at Utica Baptist Church. For this event our members will be responsible for the Silent Auction, the Yummy Desserts Auction and ticket sales. We may also be assisting in the kitchen and drive-thru pickup. In addition to the good food and auctions, there will be live entertainment.
We will also be assisting behind the scenes at the Collins Gala on October 1, 2026
at the Madren Center in Clemson.

Christmas Brunch
In December the Club hosts a Staff Christmas Brunch for Collins Family Ministries staff members. Through the generous support of the club's members, the venue was transformed into a festive holiday setting and a delicious catered brunch was served to the Collins staff. Each staff member also received a gift card as a special holiday gift. The celebration includes Christmas-themed games, small fun holiday gifts and an opportunity for staff to enjoy fellowship together. This special event provides the rare opportunity for the entire team to gather, celebrate the season and express appreciation to one another while recognizing their dedication and service throughout the year.
Personalized Blankets
Club members make or purchase a personalized blanket for each child who comes into the Collins Home to not only warm their welcome but indicate that they are special.
Other Projects
Other volunteer opportunities to help children and assist with events such as tutoring, mentoring, holiday cookie decorating, golf tournaments are available.
